https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+question/199799

Hi Team,

When I am trying to install Samba in my ubuntu server, It's throwing below mentioned error.

sudo apt-get install samba
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
samba: Depends: libpopt0 (>= 1.16) but 1.15-1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

I installed "libpopt0 (>= 1.16) but 1.15-1 " and tired installing Samba. However i still receive the same error. Please help.
