This bug was fixed in the package samba4 - 4.0.0~beta2+dfsg1-2

samba4 (4.0.0~beta2+dfsg1-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Use ntvfs while debian ships an old version of Samba 3. Closes: #679678
  * Don't attempt to add shares to the configuration if it doesn't
    exist. Closes: #681050
