how to share hard drives from ubuntu to ubuntu  ,

Can access the complete home on the pc using ssh on other ubuntu pcs
,but would like to access 2 x 2tb hard drives as well which contain
music and videos when try to acces with ssh it will not let me .

How to access these on pcs and be able to play the contents .

tryd samba, and basic file sharing   the pc when 2 x 2tb harddrives are
stored also does not hold its memory of folders set as shared folders
can got through process of creating shared folder

.but it lost when the pc is rebooted or started maybe this is the
problem ?
