[Bug 1092675] Re: Conflict installing "LAMP" apache2/mysql/php5 with aptitude
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
I can reproduce the behaviour you have described in 12.04. If you use
"sudo aptitude --safe-resolver install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5
mysql-server", then this should work non-interactively. Or just accept
the solution suggested, or use apt-get instead.
I don't see a problem with the dependencies specified in the apache2
package. I don't see this as a problem in aptitude either, since it is
able to suggest and provide a solution.
As you haven't explained why this is a bug, and I don't see that it is a
bug, I'm marking this as Invalid. If you believe that this is really a
bug, then please explain and change the bug status back to New.
** Changed in: apache2 (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
