for more recent upstream bug reports on 5.5 and 5.6.
For all users affected I'd also suggest to run innochecksum
(http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/innochecksum.html) on all .ibd
and shared ibdata* to check for data corruption, and to send my.cnf
here. It's still not clear if anything but data corruption caused by
hardware issues can cause this.
