Since installing the latest security update, root access isn't working anymore:

[root]

   comment = root
   path = /
  
   available = yes

   browseable = yes
   writeable = yes
   create mask = 0770
   directory mask = 3770

only yields "access denied" errors on connected (win) clients. If I change the path

[root]

   path = /usr

(or to any other directory, /var, /root, ...), it still works.

Is this an intended change?
