[Bug 1532428] Re: package samba 2:4.3.3+dfsg-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

 

"security = share" is no longer supported in samba. Valid values for the
"security" configuration parameter in smb.conf are auto, domain, ads and
user.


# testparm ./smb.conf
Load smb config files from ./smb.conf
rlimit_max: increasing rlimit_max (1024) to minimum Windows limit (16384)
WARNING: Ignoring invalid value 'share' for parameter 'security'
Error loading services.

# echo $?
1
