I believe the original cause of the bug report was a local configuration
issue (the incorrect permissions in some samba directories, as flagged
by testparm). I will therefore mark this bug as invalid.

As to your anonymous login point, this is not a bug report, and sounds
rather like a support question. I suggest you look for assistance in
forums such as https://askubuntu.com, where the community can offer
assistance.

If you believe what you are experiencing is indeed a defect in the
software, then please file a new bug and state clearly what is
happening, what should happen instead, and steps to reproduce the issue.
