Hey guys,

just this weekend I reveived an error mail with "Panic or segfault in
Samba" and the content below. The system was updated 2 weeks ago. So
there might be an issue with new commands in the config files?

Does anybody have a clue what on earth is going on?

The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action, was called for PID 14932 (/usr/sbin/smbd).
This means there was a problem with the program, such as a segfault.
