[Bug 1829437] [NEW] apt purge apache2 doesn't delete /etc/apache2
Public bug reported:
Expected:
After removing apache2 via 'apt remove --purge ^apache2*' all files and directory should be purged from the system.
What happend:
After purging of apache2 /etc/apache2 still exists.
The only file, that still exists is within /etc/apache2 is: /etc/apache2/conf-available/javascript-common.conf
This probably prevents the removal of /etc/apache2
Reproduce:
fresh install Ubuntu bionic
apt update
apt install apache2
apt remove --purge ^apache2*
ls /etc/apache2
