Public bug reported:

file /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/vfs/glusterfs.so is missing from
package samba-vfs-modules.

There are plenty of reports of this issue with ubuntu that can be found with a google search.
Reports date as far back as 2017.

Why hasn't this issue be addressed?

Please could you kindly provide the package complete with the missing
"glusterfs.so" file in the mainstream distribution?
