Indeed 4.12.5 in Groovy has

root@g:~# smbd -b | grep -i spot
   WITH_SPOTLIGHT

But I'm unsure about it, never the less this should be fixed for real since 2:4.13.2+dfsg-1 which fixed

This is seen in hirsute:
root@h:~# smbd -b | grep -i spot
   HAVE_SPOTLIGHT_BACKEND_ES
   WITH_SPOTLIGHT

So should be maybe good in 20.10 and surely in 21.04 - setting Fix
released.
