[Question #701243]: Samba greater than 4.7.6 in Bionic

The current release of Samba is 4.16 (though point releases of earlier versions are available as well), however the current/latest release for Bionic (18.04.6) is Samba 4.7.6 (approximately 4 years old at this point).

It's my understanding that some fixes are back-ported into previous releases.  For a new installation of Samba on Bionic, will a current version be released, ideally looking for at least 4.15.5 to satisfy vulnerability scans.
