Re: [Question #168698]: import keys

Question #168698 on samba in Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+question/168698

L. P. Luigi Espenlaub gave more information on the question:
Hi, Thank you for the hints.
I am copying them off as a checklist for my next attempt at Samba with a
dual boot Win10, Ubuntu Studio 24.04 LTS and when I have my wife's machine
18.04 removed and replaced with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Both user file systems
are backed up daily, so should be smooth enough. In my scanning of the
current Samba materials, Samba and its documents look much improved, and
less confusing.

2011 seems so long ago. At 78, time seems to pass so much faster than when
I was 24. Besides the Ancient Chinese curse "May you live in interesting
times" all of us are living under, everyday I start something, some roof
starts to fall in, I do the repairs, always complex, return and have no
idea what I had started before. Samba has been a victim more than once.

It is good to know somewhere to look when I get some mislabeled error
message or not quite end up shivering on the moon while a little round
creature asks me "Quick! can you remember what key you pressed?" That last
from one of the earliest computer cartoons back in the 8-bit bus days.

Thank you, I appreciate more than I can say for your sharing your time and
expertise.
I wish you no bits ever falling in the bit-bucket.

Yours, Luigi
