Uname : Linux scribe 6.8.0-55-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed Feb 12 23:42:21 UTC 2025 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux


Problem :
This version of samba does not provide "/var/spool/samba". The symptom is that CUPS printers (marked as "shared") do not appear in Samba. From Windows clients the printers are not shown.

ls -l /var/spool/samba
ls: cannot access '/var/spool/samba': No such file or directory

     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
