Hi Charles,
I believe that the VNC traffic will be local, but I also think that
you'll see increased WAN traffic because the VNC screen updates aren't
the usual X primitives that x2go handles well.
Finally, I think you'll get much better answers if you ask this in the
x2go mailing list instead of here. :)
