This should be fixed in 0.5.6. I'm guessing you are running 0.5.3.

Please add the epoptes stable PPA to your sources and get the latest epoptes release (0.5.6) to fix this problem. You can do that by executing the following:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:epoptes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install epoptes

I mark this bug as invalid. If you find that it is not fixed in 0.5.6,
please write a comment.

  Full screen broadcasting runs in window

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.04 client and server.

  Starts xvnc4viewer ... FullScreen ... instead of xvnc4viewer ....
  -FullScreen ... and broadcasting runs in windowed mode (can be closed,
  minimised and so on).
