The problem is that epoptes-client can't take thumbnails of the screen
to send back to Epoptes, because you don't have a X screen in ssh.

We really didn't have that scenario in mind when designing Epoptes
(running without X screen) since most features are useless without a
graphical interface, but if you really need to do that via SSH, try
using ssh -X so you can have X11 forwarding.

I'm sure we'll have a better solution if you tell us what exactly are
you trying to achieve and why do you need to start epoptes-client via
ssh.
