[Bug 1495275] [NEW] python-vte is deprecated

Public bug reported:

This was reported in Debian's bug tracker, but should be fixed upstream:

  https://bugs.debian.org/790167

I couldn't find where in the code python-vte was actually used, so maybe this is an old dependency?
If python-vte is still used, an alterntive might be python-gi or python3-gi.
