A plea from a user: please set up a mailing list for this,
don't use stackexchange or any other type of forum.
A mailing list can be searched and indexed just like a forum;
as a bonus point you can save the (threaded) discussion that most 
interest you in your hd.
And if you want to change your server
you can do it without losing all the past discussions.
