After having tested this version myself it would appear that it works
and solves this bug.  We should roll out this new version ASAP once
sufficient testing proves it to be a stable update.

So apparently the FreeNX implementation of X server is missing something.

I have the exact same issue as described in those forums.  The application, amsn, works fine with logged in to the console (physically at keyboard), but when connected through NX ... amsn crashes as described in that thread.
