I added a rgb file at /usr/share/nxagent and made nxagent look for it.
This rgb file is a copy of Hardy /etc/X11/rgb.txt one.

Fixed the missing SecurityPolicy file too.

So apparently the FreeNX implementation of X server is missing something.

I have the exact same issue as described in those forums.  The application, amsn, works fine with logged in to the console (physically at keyboard), but when connected through NX ... amsn crashes as described in that thread.
