I would correct Nikolay's point and say that Nova-Network is still not
obsolete because Neutron is not quite stable. Actually, nova-network is
performing good, but it has some limitations on network topologies and
does not support network virtualization as much as Neutron does.
Moreover, it does not support configuration of switches, it does not
support openflow out of box. But, to be sure, nova-network is more rock-
solid and stable than neutron, but it requires more manual configuration
than neutron for VLAN allocation, switch configuration and it is going
to become obsolete as soon as Neutron provides all its functionality
with the same stability.
