Re: Fw: I need G70 driver ( G70-212EM Notebook PC)

Hello Tunde -

Linux does not use drivers technically. They are called modules. Most
of these will be built in and not needing configuration. Some people
do have issues finding the right module to work with their wireless
card (although this is and has been getting much, much better). Please
let us know what hardware is not working properly. You can run 'lspci'
from a terminal (in accessories). This will list all the hardware the
kernel can see. Pull the lines out for the hardware you are trying to
get working and copy them into an email and reply-all. If it is the
wireless you are looking for. Another option is to install 'ndisgtk'
(available on the cd somewhere or in the Software center or from the
terminal 'sudo apt-get install ndisgtk'). With this you can download
the Windows driver and install it into the OS. Hope this helps.
