Yes, that's correct.

We do have a GASP package in the fedora repos, which you can install
like any other package ("python-gasp"), but it currently is out of date.

Download the latest version of gasp from https://edge.launchpad.net
/gasp-code/+download and extract it to your python site-packages
directory.
