Thanks for reporting on this bug!

The reporting of bugs for Gephi has been transferred to Github. There is
already a bug report opened for the geolayout. Please add the
description of your problem there!
https://github.com/gephi/gephi/issues/445 It will show to the developers
that several users are concerned by this issue.

(you will have to create an account on Github for that: but that's worth
it, because as you may know Github is a huge platform for coding, so
your account will surely be useful in the future).
