This is because I shoot the Xv directly on the framebuffer bypassing any
compositing and all else, this is how Xv worked 10 years ago. It is also
the fastest way.

Maybe I could redraw the part of the screen where the previous position
was? We might loose some frames but hey, who watches video while
dragging its window and will complain about framedrop?
