Setting -GtkPaned-handle-size to '0' in the theme removes the 'visual
disconnection'.

Status in The Unico Gtk+ Theming Engine:
  New

Bug description:
  Right now, the list view appears in a way that is visually
  disconnected from the page content selected/active.

  The selected list-row is highlighted, there is a separator and the
  page is separate. But it would be better to visually connect the page
  with the list item selected
