Now for oneiric: Xorg 1.9 for this release will also not support multitouch!
Just built the packages today and building the driver with mutouch had failed :/

  multitouch does not work in HP Slate 500

Bug description:
  On a fresh install of 11.04 (Natty) on the HP Slate 500 (which has the
  GMA 500), multitouch works fine. After adding the EMGD ppa and
  installing the driver, multitouch no longer works.
