Status in GNOME Split - File splitter for GNOME desktop: Fix Committed
Bug description:
File split failed to split 12 Gb backup file (files.tgz) using any algorithm on Ubuntu 10.
I was attempting to break it into 3 Gb chunks.
Instead split program just made a full size copy of the file it was backing up (with split extension tacked onto the name) and then abended with java null pointer exception at the conclusion.
Very disappointing...
