Title:
gnome-split 1.1-1 closes after any action

Status in GNOME Split - File splitter for GNOME desktop:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I can start gnome-split 1.1-1 in Ubuntu 12.04 daily 64 bit, but after
I click /any/ button the program just disappears leaving no trace.

When I run gnome-split from the terminal I get to see what the error
  is.

  me@my-laptop:~$ gnome-split

When I run gnome-split as super user it works fine.

Seems like a simple default setting bug.
  Thanks.
