well it solved itself - i still got some empty pages in the log of the 3 days it stopped working, but today it counts , even though nothing changed
i wouldn't call it"solved" but i cannot help on the solution (if any is needed) as i don't face the problem any more

Status in GNOME Activity Journal: New

Bug description:
i am using zeitgeist from the ppa ubuntu-tweak offers, started at version 0.3.2
it was working ok until yesterday , when the journal stopped being updated with new events 
new events won't appear to either the 0.3.2 version i have installed or the bazaar one (revision 565)

which i think that is rather irrelevant
