[Bug 1595690] Re: Mouse freezes on login to gnome desktop

 

Neglected to mention that the entire system appears to freeze when I hit
this as keyboard (ps2) ceases to function as well.

Bug description:
  My perfectly working mouse, fails to function in any way after login
  to gnome's desktop environment. Mouse works perfectly in the login
  screen, only after I enter my password and press enter the mouse
  freezes after a few seconds. I am certain this is a bug as I installed
  LXQt desktop environment and logged into that with no problems.

  Additional Info: I installed Ubuntu, directly using the Ubuntu-Gnome ISO. 
  default installed version of GNOME is 3.18
