the compiz Close window animation on GnoMENU is carried out behind the active window (not visible)

Status in GnoMenu - consolidated menu for gnome: Invalid
Bug description:
When I click beside the GnoMENU on a window (not the Desktop), the GnoMENU quickly hides under the now-active window (without the focus animation carried out, by the way) and the "Close window" animation is played behind that window. I think it's useless to play a beautiful animation behind something, when u don't see it.
Check the video for details...
Possible solution: Change the GnoMENU window to something like "Always on top", so the animations on it always be visible.
