Re: [Question #141393]: KeyError 'ds' when reading imported RRDs
Question #141393 on Graphite changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/141393
Status: Answered => Open
Michael Gorsuch is still having a problem:
Hi - first off, thank you for the quick response and sorry for my late
reply.
The patch resolved the 500 errors, and I am now able to see the RRDs in
the navigation bar. However, when I click on any of the nav sources,
nothing is added to the main graph view. I cannot find any trace of an
error, either. If I click on "Graph Data", I do see the sources listed
there, but the display continues to display "No Data". This is not the
case when I select carbon sources.
I have an example system setup on EC2 (http://50.16.6.128) if you'd like
to see the issue in action. I'm also more than happy to give you root
access to the system in question, as it is just a prototype.
Judging from this issue, would it be fair to say that RRD support is not
a major focus for Graphite? Graphite looks like a fantastic system
using its more native components. I thought it would make things easier
if I could just import existing RRD information, but perhaps I would be
better off forgetting about that and sending the info straight to
carbon. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Thank you!
Michael Gorsuch
