Yea I've known about this bug for a long time (dating back to my days at
Orbitz) and I've been too lazy to fix it exactly because it doesn't seem
to have any adverse affects aside from under-reporting the cache size by
a marginal amount. It should be tracked with a formal bug though so I'll
go ahead and link one from this question.
