My storage schema for graphite is:

[everything_1min_for_6mon_15min_5years]
priority = 100
pattern = .*
retentions = 60:259200,900:175200

I'm sending data to it every 60 seconds. The storage resolution is the
same. What do you mean by deriving differences?

I just used the derivative() function, it looks much better
