There are timeout params in localsettings.py that go against queries
from the various sources (carbon cache and other cluster members). If
you are seeing missing data it is likely because these timeouts were
hit.
you can up those but we tried doing close to infinite (well 45s :) ) but
that can make a single slow node bring your whole cluster to a
"crawl"...

We are seeing situations where if we use wildcards when there are too
many results, we don't get graphs. What is the limitation for this?
