[Question #184932]: Web UI refers to events service on port 8000, nothing running there

0.9.9 refers to the ability to input 'events', and specifically calls out to a GUI on port 8000.  However, nothing is running on 8000 on my installation.  Is this a bug, or a problem with my specific installation?
