These are the debian builds I know of:

Lars Fronius's carbon package:

Brian Clermont's carbon, graphite, and whisper packages:
https://code.launchpad.net/~b.clermont/graphite/debian-packaging
https://code.launchpad.net/~mleinartas/graphite/debian-packaging (plus a few commits of mine)

Note that a new version (0.9.10) is in the works and should (hopefully)
be out in the next month or so.

There are a few RPM spec files out there as well if that interests you
as far as examples
