Hi, 
Apologies if this has been answered before. 

 Is it possible to use a dot "." as a metric/tree name??

example: Test."my.name".metric
    
    Test/
         |
        my.name/
                |
             metric

I've tried escaping it before sending into carbon, but it doesn't work.
