looking at the code at https://github.com/graphite-project/graphite-
web/blob/master/webapp/graphite/render/functions.py#L1881 - it seems
like the delta is adding a multiplier to the deviation... Am still
curious for some usage examples or guidelines on how this can be best
applied, but hope it adds at least some info to the delta parameter.
