Re: [Question #230772]: missing latest stats in graphite-web

Question #230772 on Graphite changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/230772

    Status: Answered => Open

James Bardin is still having a problem:
unfortunately that doesn't seem to take care of my issue, but after some
tuning, I almost never get more than one None at the end of the data,
which make some sense, since the statsd daemon may be updating at any
point during the final stat interval.

After watching carbon-cache for a while, I've found it never reports any
values returned, but that only started when I moved all the database
files to faster storage. It seems that the data is almost always written
out fast enough that it's never in the carbon-cache.

I don't have a way to test at the moment, but I wonder if carbon-cache
doesn't return "None" for pending values (if it has values to return),
whereas graphite will see "None" if it accessed the database directly.
