Thanks again, it was spot on.

I've turned all of them (except aggregation intervals) to 20,000,000.
I've tried to send my 1,500,000 metrics again (after clearing storage) with "cat all | nc localhost 2003"

* The command finished within roughly 2 minutes
* I'ts been a few minutes since then and whisper files are created 50/s (It's now at 9000~ out of 1,500,000 files)...
* Meanwhile carbon is fixed on 55% CPU

so does that mean that the 1,500,000 metrics file will be available for viewing in graphite in 8:15 hours ?
Is it normal speed?
