Question #244564 on Graphite changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/244564
D DC gave more information on the question:
UPDATE: 2014-07-17
After increasing the server memory to 16GB (from 4GB) on March 2014, the process worked fine until now. Now the problem came back: no metrics data is written to disk (over NFS), there is a file open when checking with "lsof" and eventually process gets out-of-memory again.
>From March, the system worked fine with:
MAX_CACHE_SIZE = 5000000
MAX_UPDATES_PER_SECOND = 50
Rebooted both servers to no avail.
Using version 0.9.10 on Redhat EL 6.4 64bit (under Vmware)
Please help preventing this crashes.
How much memory is needed for 30k commited points/s ?
