Actually my gripe was that I received an email that the question was
being closed because of no activity for two weeks. Unfortunately I had
preferred Graphite to go with our Icinga 2 solution because it looked to
be more flexible but corporate will be corporate and decided to go a
different direction. I should have been more politically correct in my
comments but in all honesty it's just not really in my nature to be PC.
My apologies for being rash.

then after someone asks for more details, you explain that the system is no longer in use and you decided to use something else? Classy move.
