hi, 

I want to use the IP address as a metric name. 

for exemple :    echo  "adr_ip.10.10.79.51 4 `date +%s`" | nc localhost 2003  

 graphite, made a split of the chain and creates me a directory for each number de my ip address  !!! 

is there a way to configure  graphite/carbon  that displays the IP address  as metric name ??
