Hi,

we are facing the issue of (it feels like every time the same) delayed metrics. We dont see any performance issues on our server, which is a quite powerful box. We are running a relay with 2 carbon caches behind it. We can clearly see the whisper files getting written unequally that matches what we see in the graphs. We tried every writing strategy, changed the updates per second and minutes. switch off one carbon but so far we cannot get the graphs up to date. The delay also varies from 1 to 10-15min. We use graphite-web version 0.9.13 with grafana on top. We have a NFS mount with the whisper files on it. This is our storage schema:

retentions = 60:90d

[default_1min_for_1day]
pattern = .*
retentions = 60s:30d,15m:90d

We are sending data through statsite and it flushes every 60seconds. Collectd sends also every 60seconds to the relay directly.

Can anyone point us somewhere, because we are pretty much running out of ideas here.
