Title:
  Compiz does not paint background

Bug description:
These days nautilus has transparent desktop window.

OpenGL plugin simply checks for desktop window count to decide if it
should paint background or not. It works only if desktop window is
  opaque.

  1) Simplest fix would be to remove this check and paint background always.
  2) Not so simple would be to change how desktop windows are counted:
  - count only opaque windows, ignore if window has alpha and/or 32 depth. This could introduce regressions?
  - add extra variable to keep count with opaque windows.

  Other ideas?
