[Bug 1171970] Re: Enable tmux bash completion by default
Fixed in Yakkety and Zesty, since they are >=2.2
Given the impact I don't think it qualifies for an SRU - if you think it does please feel free to do the paperwork (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates) for the SRU team to review, but I'd not expect so.
** Also affects: tmux (Ubuntu Xenial)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Changed in: tmux (Ubuntu Xenial)
Status: New => Confirmed
** Changed in: tmux (Ubuntu)
Status: Confirmed => Fix Released

Title:
Enable tmux bash completion by default
Status in tmux package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in tmux source package in Xenial:
Confirmed
Status in tmux package in Debian:
Fix Released
Bug description:
tmux ships with a bash completion script in
/usr/share/doc/tmux/examples/bash_completion_tmux.sh but it isn't
copied to /etc/bash_completion.d/ by default. Ubuntu's standard
practice seems to be to put the file in there by default and then to
allow the user to disable bash completion if they don't want it via
their .bashrc.
